My Two Little Feet

My baby is turning 4 months old tomorrow. He's not going to be a little baby much longer :o(

Last week, we went to see Grandma, Grandpa & Nan in Saskatoon. We flew with Westjet again. I certainly wouldn't fly with the other airline... Matthew already knows how to work the system... he smiles at all of the flight attendants during the trip and they all want to talk to him and hold him!

Our trip was great, but we both caught little colds once we got there. Probably from flying. It tends to happen to me, so I might have given it to him. None the less, we were fine in a few days!

We got home safe and sound last weekend.

Matthew has now decided that he doesn't care about any of his toys... he only wants to play with his feet all day! He gets frustrated when he has socks on, or when he has bulkly pants on that make it difficult to get his big toe into his mouth! Diaper changes have become fun, because he won't put his legs down long enough to get a diaper on! The minute those two little feet come out of the sleeper, they're right into his mouth. It's so cute!

If his feet aren't in his mouth, he's using them to try and stand up... no longer is it acceptable to sit in Mommy's lap. Oh, no, we have to stand all of the time now! (with Mommy holding me up of course). I guess the world has a completely different view when you're not looking at everything from the ground up!

Tomorrow we have to go see the evil needle lady (aka public health nurse) for shots again. Mommy's probably dreading them more than Matthew. He will only scream for a minute or two, but all moms know that that minute or two seems like hours :o( Hopefully he'll be fine afterwards though. Last time, they didn't seem to bother him for long. He probably knows he'll get carried around for the rest of the day and cuddled, so it's not such a big deal after all :O)
